I visited the selected Tsunami Victims on the 31.01.2005.I give the progress in Pictures, for you to see and evaluate yourself, of what I saw and what help you have done.Lot of my past guest who have gone with me on tours round Sri Lanka has promised me to send money and other things to help the Tsunami refugees.Some refugees still have not started any improvements due to reasonable facts like they could not find a suitable piece of land to build their house.Government is not allowing them to build their houses at the same place.It has to be 100 meters away from the beach.There is a conflict about this law.People are confused.We have to wait till our selected people start work.For them I have realeased little money to start work.Some people have shown very good progress so I hope to released more money for people who show speedy recovery to complete their work.I do this work through Albert and Chithra Wijegunawardene memorial Foundation which I started in 1996 in memory of my dead parents who were well known social workers in Sri Lanka.

Because I have finished, all my projects successfully, with the help of my well wishers, I take this Oportunity to thank all people who trusted me and helped me in my projects.Also I put all the money which I got only in specially selected places where most of the donors knew and thinking that it was very necessary according to my knowledge and personal supervission.I did my best to give all information about them through this website.Anytime any one can visit these places and see the progress from their own eyes and talk to them and enjoy the happiness with them.All addresses and telephone numbers are also given in each webpage.While doing these projects there were obstacles and problems which we had to face and were beyond our control and we had to bear the shortcomings.I regret such inconvieniences and shortcomings which the donors had,.I should say with all that,still we can be very happy, that we did a great job, at the correct time, when it was nesessary, for some unfortunate people, who lost their happy life.They are happy now, and we are happy too. Finally again, I thank from the bottom of my heart on behalf of the Tsunami Refugees all who helped us at this critical disaster time spending their valuable time,money and strenghth and courage given to me to do all this work.
