She was living alone with her 19years old child, who is just after school, in their house.Her husband left her a long time ago leaving the child to her.She was living with the child with the little income she got from, making lace table clothes, and making and selling readymade garments.

Fortunately from tsunami she did not loose her house, but she lost her all earnings, lace making pillow, and the sewing machine, which she was making readymade garments.Subsequently she managed to get a lace making pillow from the small industries department, as a gift, and she was apealing to donors, to buy a sewing machine for her, to continue her readymade garment business.

From the money which I got, I got her the sewing machine, and now she is very happily continueing her bussiness.

on the 15.03.2005 I visited Ranjani and she has done some table clothes and dresses for the local market.But she has very little market at the moment with the tourist hotels because there are no tourists in the hotels.
