Chandima showed a very good progress,He got a bank loan and bought a small piece of land, and used his effort to make his own house, with the money we gave,Now he has built his house, upto the roof level, and I am going to relies more money, to finish the roof.He is a very hard working person, very fluent in French,working as a steward in Rampart hotel Galle.I am very happy with his progress.

On the 28.02.2005 Visit I found that he has found another source of financial help and I will stop helping him from roof level of his house.So he can continue the rest of the work with the new financial source and we can utelise the saving for another Victim of Tsunami.He has done a well to take water and a Toilet closeby to his house.

I recieved a telephone messege from Chandima on the 15th saying that he is now strated living in the new house and Thanking all people who helped him.I did not have much time to visit him and I will visit him next time and try to put some photoes to the web site.I think all of us have to be happy that we achieved our target.

I visited him on the 1st of April and include new photoes of his house showing you how he live in his two room house.

I visited him on the 28.05.2005 and found that he is doing a vegetable plot for their consumption.He also have plans to start the second stage of the house with some money he got from some of his friends.
